Qualification
You do NOT need to qualify for this show, but you must be registered with the I. S. S. for either 2011 or 2012. You may register now in order to compete at this show, and your registration will then be valid throughout 2012.
Order of Events
Thursday December 29th – Christmas Dinner and Disco in the Club House, priced at £25 per adult and £15 per child 12 years or under. Please see separate Menu and booking form. Tickets are limited, so please book early, as we need to know the numbers for catering. No cheques will be cashed before the 1st December.
Friday December 30th – Christmas Show with Evening Performance, including a visit from Santa! All rings will be either indoors or on the surfaced Arena. Please see separate timetable for running order; however we reserve the right to move classes into other rings according to weather conditions and numbers forward. We have not printed a time for EVERY class this time; there are some “not before” times for your guidance, which will be adhered to, but classes will follow on within those sections to minimise hanging around in the cold.
Close of Entries
Due to the Christmas post, closing date for postal entries will be Monday 5th December. Please DO NOT post entries after that date – as usual we will take entries on the day, at extra cost. However, if you intend to enter on the day and need stables, you should book these directly with Onley before ???, where you can pay with a credit or debit card. Due to restrictions on both time and space, it may be necessary to limit numbers in some classes – please enter early as first come, first served.
Dress Code
Normal Royal London rules and standards will apply, including the hat rule. Anyone wishing to wear a top hat etc. must sign a disclaimer at the secretary’s desk in the normal way. However, in the Evening Performance, especially in the Concours d’Elegance and Fancy Dress, a bit of extra festive turnout is actively encouraged.
Stables
Stables will be available for Thursday 29th and Friday 30th – please book directly with Onley
